Two years ago today, at exactly 23:30 pm our lives changed for a third time. Mother’s instinct had me feeling it was a boy, but little did I know what that meant.

Alex age “2″, loves to run, jump, crash, bang, push, pull, open, everything in his path, as most boys do…but he also loves cuddles and wraps his arms and legs tightly around me when I pick him up in the morning, he gives sloppy kisses like no other and searches for his sisters when they’re not home.

The cheeky smile that gets him away with plenty, lights up so many moments during our day and his foreign language has us forever guessing what new and exciting thoughts go through his mind.

Two years filled with so many adventures, great and small, exploring all things unknown and showing us more and more each day what a special little boy you are.

4 months ago when I went on my amazing trip to the US, the first reason for going was to attend the beloved collective in LA. Most of you wont know what this is and I hope to change this in the future. One couple at a time, one experience after another, have the beloved movement become a journey for us all. A way to rekindle our passion, to remember why we fell in love and what made our hearts beat the fastest, to simply spend some quality time together, away from the hustle and bustle and just be, with one small difference; I will be there to capture it.

So what better time than the present and what better day to celebrate love, Valentines Day.

If you would like to be a part of something special, leave me a message below and tell me one of your favourite memories from the first days you and your partner/husband/wife were together. Entries will be drawn on Tuesday morning the 14th of February and those who are able to make it can have the session that same afternoon! My brain works in mysterious ways. When I walked into the second hand shop this afternoon in search of new treasures, my eye was immediately drawn to this chair and it wasn’t the chair I saw, it was the expectant mother running her hand across her belly dreaming of her unborn child, I saw the new mother soothing her precious little bundle and breathing in each second with her baby. I see dreams, memories and rooms filled with delicate moments. Just for today, Mya shared her special moments with Teddy
